| TSAB '66 F100 version 2
Some of you may remember my '66 F100 build. At the time,I had it almost done but, life got in the way. Later on it was hard to find the motivation to actually finish it until I decided to go a different direction with it. Here's the direction it's headed. Still have more to do but,it was a good start today. I'm starting with the STRC conversion chassis for the SCX10. And no,these aren't the wheels I'll be using. More to come. |

Looks great man! What’s the new direction? Full on Monster Truck, or something else? |

| Re: TSAB '66 F100 version 2 Thanks. That was the original version that never got quite finished. New version will look better once I have the appropriate wheels and tires. As usual,I may have a trick or two up my sleeve to set it apart from others. |

Ironically, I was reading the thread on the original build while watching Mega Truck racing. Stranger still, watching Mega Truck racing has me thinking about building a Mega Truck. I’ll be following along to see what you come up with. |

Very cool. I like that color as a custom paint job. |

A little bit of progress. Got the battery mount in,transmission in and new shocks on. Like the looks of the 120mm Desert Lizards much better. At least now they're actually mounted to the shock hoops. Still waiting on the tires. LHS ordered the wrong ones so,now I have to wait. Unfortunately, the holidays put deliveries behind. Guess I should have ordered them from RPP to begin with. |

| Re: TSAB '66 F100 version 2 Thanks. Finally got my tires.I'm really liking the redneck look. Tried all 4 wideners.Think I'm gonna go with the widest ones. Still more to do but, getting a lot closer. |

How's this rig coming along, any updates? I think I might use the STRC Lift Kit side plates on my XTM build, it already has the holes pretty much where I want them. |

| Re: TSAB '66 F100 version 2 Haven't done much with this. Been working on the Capra/Ambush when I'm not working or running the other RC's. Will be trying to get the actual motor/esc I plan on running installed soon.
