Default SMT10 3200kv?

Would a HW 3200kv with Max10sct esc be ok with 2s OR 3s?
Would I see a noticeable increase in speed with stock gearing, using the 11 and 16t pinions?
Or do I need to get to the 4000kv range on 2s / 3s before the speed increase is seen?
Don't want mega fast but the stock 27? and the 17t I tried seemed slow

I run the HW Max 10 SCT 4000kV on 2S with a 16T Pinion and find it to be perfect. On 3S the rig is crazy and practically uncontrollable.

My SMT10 has a generic 3800kv 4 pole 550 that came from ebay at the moment. It moves pretty good on 2S in the confined spaces of my yard, enough to make it amusing. 3S is much faster and it has begun to shred the front axle gears after about 10 minutes of driving.

With that said, I have a set of Vanquish axle housings and a Holmes Puller Pro R 4100kv waiting to go in for even more abuse.
