Default SMT10 trailing arms/4 link question.

I have seen upper and lower trailing arm sets for the SMT10. some shorten the wheel base.
some of these sets have a top arm that has a bend/kink like the plastic kit parts. I thought this was to stop the upper arms hitting the drive train.
some sets do not have this bend/kink.
Can anyone give info on this ,some sets say smt10/scx so want to make sure these straits arms will work without fouling, thanks

This guy makes custom links to shorten the wheelbase. Most of the guys on Trigger King are using his links.

I have seen this company ,they have some great stuff but I am in the UK so shipping and duty costs etc in the UK make it unaffordable for me.

Not directly related to the OP question, but more about the stock lower links .
Are they symmetrical front to rear ? Sorry for the noob question.

Yes they are the same part number in the book.

Check Axial's page for the instructions on the Builders Kit. Good info for noobs like me and you.
