SMT10 Driveshaft

Searching for some upgraded driveshafts for my SMT10. There appears to be few choices, but also a lot of options for the Wraith and Yeti show up ion the same search.
Do any of these cross over?
What is the correct length? (Stock Wheel Base)
What companies should i consider and or avoid?

I have been using the MIP's on 2s. I have about 20 packs through with no issues.

Just make sure you clean the set screws with some rubbing alcohol or brakekleen. Then use blue locktite. Oh, also use a q-tip to clean where the screws go into. I only say that because the MIP's have a light coating on them to prevent rust.

I use this little trick to make the Axial shafts last longer:

Run a M3 screw down the center of the floating spline. In theory, this helps prevent the center section from collapsing and twisting which ultimately kills that part of the shaft. Doesn't make it bombproof but I haven't killed one yet.

That is an interesting little tip. Thanks

Re: SMT10 Driveshaft

I personally started using stock traxxas shafts and cutting them to the right length to fit on mine. I didnt wanna go to a metal driveshaft and eliminate that weak link. Id rather have to replace a driveshaft than ring & pinion or axle shafts. So far have proven to be stronger than the stock axial ones. They are still cheap & easy to find. And to top it off they look more scale being how they are a ujoint style shaft instead of a cvd.
