Lovin this mtx-1!

FINALLY went to lipo batteries. Bought four 5000mah 2s 25c batteries and a good charger. I bought a brand new smt10 and a onyx 4000kv brushless setup for it, even with larger pinion I wasnt happy....so smt10 is now for sale and I pulled out me and my sons mtx-1 again. With lipo they were fun with the stock 30T brushed motor BUT since I had the onyx system sitting on a shelf I threw it in today. IVE BEEN GRINNING EAR TO EAR FOR THE PAST HOUR! THIS SETUP IS INSANE LOL

20* out in the snow and a little tail end landing...blew both lower links LOL Have a set of Amazon aluminum links ready for this reason but used some old Axial links just to get back running again for now

To everyone who has this truck I'm sure you know by now the body post are TRASH and so it the BODY So I found that Vaterra body post set are exact replicas of the MST brand and fit PERFECT. The body I used duct sealent tape I use for work to help strengthen the body somewhat. Also the four links are TRASH, the slightest off chamber landing and they snap like dry spaghetti SMH Quick Amazon search got me two sets of all aluminum links, they should be here tomorrow and a simple dremel shortening is all that's needed to get them to fit. Cant beat it for TWELVE BUCKS!
