24T Servo Saver?

Well, my LMT has chewed through three Spektrum 6280 servos, with the stock Losi servo saver installed. In all three instances, the servo saver was trashed also.

So I've decided to move on entirely to a new servo and new servo saver. I've started with the Hi-Tec 7955TG which should have torque and strength to spare.

But now I'm left to decide on a servo saver. The main problem being that there are plenty of metal 23T and 25T servo savers out there, but I can't find any metal 24T savers. Hi-Tec servos are 24T splines.

So do you monster truck lovers know of any durable and effective servo savers for 24T servos? I've whipped up a plastic one using spare parts from old, dead servo savers, but it's too soft. And the plastic horn will likely eventually be shredded by the metal servo splines. So I'm hoping to find a metal, 24T servo saver that can live up to monster trucking.

Thanks for any help!

Kimbrough I think still makes the large nitro servo saver. It's nylon, comes with a bunch of adapters. About $10 is what I paid last time. Holds up to clodbuster action

Re: 24T Servo Saver?

Thanks. I checked three local hobby shops, none of whom had any in stock. I realized I bought an old Hi-Tec servo, as they used to use 24T, but now use 25T.

So I gave up on the old Hi-Tec, and bought a new one that's 25T. That should open my servo saver options up immensely.
