Man Sam do you even stop to eat or sleep. I took apart the slash tranny and stuffed it with Lucus Red n Tacky #2, totally changes the tire action. Found out the tires were on wrong. I had the fronts on the back and the back on the front. Also what is the point of that opening on the bottom of the trans. Does RPM make a stronger case. Mine isn't very strong, I'll have to have one of you look at it. I'm thinking I have some bad plastic in the front. Man am I itching to run this thing. I may go hit the street when I'm done typing. |

Wow, so much more stable with the kit. I turned up the speed on the radio. had to make myself stop. Wanted to run through the snow, but it's not waterproof. So itching to run it. Going to need some help getting the alignment right. Wheels aren't sitting the best. Need to borrow some ones rack to make some adjustments. When are we racing?????? Now it's time to check on the wraith's motor. |

you may want to go pick up at least 2 sets of dog bone cups and stub axles for the blitz. with the 8.5 in a blitz you will wear them out in 1 or 2 days of racing. the other trick is to shim the dog bones with fuel line in the cups. looks clean tho

I would Buy a strc steering for that blitz before I even hit the track! The bellcranks are a major weak point on them!

Yeah Iv already got some spare parts from my boys blitz and looking into a parts roller for spare parts. Its alot easier to maintain 1 type of truck than two. It may not be a sc10 or xxxsct but its got potential for sure. I really didnt want the 8.5 but couldn't pass it up. I would rather have a 10.5 or possibly 13.5 just to keep temps down. But with the ballistic motors all you have to do is change the stator inside to a 10.5 and they are only 30 bucks if I feel IRS too much. Plus I don't want to gear it so low that it hours the motor as well.
