Default M-40 Jones,Michigan

Ok guys, we constructed a area of 25 ft wide by 40 ft uphill yesterday. The rocks are anywhere from 6 inches to 36 inches. The grade ranges from 5 degrees to maybe 40 degrees at the top. Had to make some rough stuff for supers. We are still moving small rocks around to get some good trail though the course.I had a hard time w/ my 2.2 clod in some spots. We have to get about 2 more (pick-up truck size loads) of rock also. there are some lighter spots. We were all tired yesterday after getting the off-road track ready, or we would have done it then. I have not made bridges yet, but in the next couple weeks will have that done. Also we did not put river bed in yet, still discussing how it's gonna be done and with what materials. We're looking at lanscape stuff. Looks like track will be open on sundays for practice. We're not going to hold any comps for awhile. Maybe mid summer, that will change. There is plenty of pit space. I think Alton will let people hook to electric. There are port-a-johns on site. Also water is available. There pry will be a fee, even for practice. There is plenty of pit space, room to put up canopies, tables, trailers, whatever. My phone went dead yesterday before we got done so, I don't have pics yet. Give me 2-3 days.

Here is a link to their website.http://www.m40rctrack.com/

Any questions feel free to call . Thanks, hope we get some good crawling going on.

My phone was dead saturday, but maybe this weekend I can run up and take some pictures if I get a chance.Twisted, Most of us that race at this track already run an Off-road series, don't know how a rock crawling series would sit on top of that. 2-3 years ago , I would have said let's go for it. With the gas prices where they are ........... I just don't know. Whoever is in charge of the MIRCA thing, talk to Alton. I think the phone # is on the web page. Very friendly bunch.
