Scooter, I'm paying another guy on the forums for the chassis. It's not cheap but his work is good. I'll be doing the easy stuff (electronics, motor, batts, painting the Yota body). |

looks good jake please tell me u primered first tho these hard bodies really realy need the primer to get the paint to stick my first few hard bodies didnt hold up well to the lightest of bumbs befor the paint started to come off but the rig looks great |

| Yup I did. Used to build 1/24 static models with crazy features like carpeting, proper plug wiring, radiator hoses, fuel and brake lines...I was obsessive. Plus I filled all the holes (some are not as good as I wanted, but Tamiya puts some in the worst places!) and the "vent trim" at the back of the doors was smoothed out. So after all that and some sanding I went to some Tamiya (read super expensive! lol) Fine Primer. I hope it sticks. Though the hood looks weak since its hand painted. Still also need to finish the grill. I do need bent axial rod ends (x1...how'd I lose 1?), driveshafts, and it should run then. |
