Hey fella's (and ladies)! Just dug my wraith out of storage after moving back up from Lake Orion, and am looking to meet up with some of ya'll see if we can get a group going this spring. I'm in Charlevoix, about an hour north of Traverse.

I've got a bad case of cabin fever and need to get out! I've got repairs and upgrades to make to the Wraith, but I'm wanting to get involved in class competitions.

I'm in Traverse City. Just bought an SCX10 kit from Oviatts, my first scaler. I have a few other rc's as well but I am very excited about this one. It would be cool to get together with some others sometime.

I've got my wraith torn down at the moment. Waiting on my income tax check so I can place a big order. So many broken pieces, I may be too rough on this thing.

Anyhow, any good crawl spots around here? We need to get some kind of meet schedule for this summer up. Would make for excellent motivation to get more members and to finish some rigs.

Got several of the local guys interested in running the short course trucks, but none are interested in doing any crawling.. damn speed demons.

We'll see what they say when I finally get my crawler going again, maybe they'll change their minds.

Just joined the forums here but I finally upgraded my Twin Hammers to my liking and a friend and I are looking for more crawlers and places to crawl! Just though I'd throw out our secret little spot. The old abandoned mini putt course in Traverse City right along the bay in between the hampton inn and the state campground makes for a couple hours of some great crawling.

I pass by that course every day and keep meaning to take my rig there. My friend and I are always down to run them, might go there tonight after work in fact.

Edit - just drove by it and noticed all of the no trespassing signs, do you ever get harassed when you run there?

yea we saw the signs too but pulled around back and no one could see my car from the road :P But we're gone up there twice already for a couple hours and haven't been talked to by anyone as of yet! I think if anyone called the cops they would just tell us to leave, so I'll abuse it till that happens :P But i'll fur sure get some pics up the next time we head out there!

I just left there. It's a fun spot but the best I've found so far is on the back half of hickory hills

Crawl'n'Brawl and I usually are free on Sundays, But we should try to pull
together a Meet and Greet Crawl within the next couple of weeks.
Try to get the word out to any one else that would be Interested.
The more the merrier the crawler scene is too sparse up here we need more of community.

Agreed. Would love to get a meet together!

Just a side thought. I'm heading down to Waterford for the meet there on Memorial Weekend (24th) if any of you want to come? Will be going down that friday night, renting a room, and coming back saturday after the fun.

Still waiting on parts for my Wraith, and havent gotten the chassis to the powdercoater yet either (Scheduled for next week). Probably going to be a mad dash the week before to have it all together and ready.
