Keep on trucking... I've got a bunch more but I think this s enough for now, Hope maybe next time I can get a few more uys to come out with me the trails go on and on for miles and theres still the other side of the river to explore.

Place looks sweet I wish I could of came out but the scaler doesn't have an esc yet I just ordered it last night.

Its actualy great for all crawlers in general on the other side theres some rock walls that would probably be a challenge for comp crawlers.

Lyons is just north of portland, MI off of I96 between lansing and GR

I wish I wouldn't have worked yesterday. I saw your post in the scalers post and wanted to go so bad. We will have to get together sometime soon and do a run. I'll take pictures for you "thumbsup". Let me know

Sounds good guy's I alwys see posts like we need to get together and what not so I thought I'd throw my scale spot out there and see if it gets any bites and if anything maybe someone else has a better spot. I'm up for a drive with the proper planning and notice. So whenever y'all feel like making plans I'm game it's always more fun when your not the only one out there

you know I cant recognize anything in that picture sweli, If you look on google maps and type in webber damn lyons, mi. zoom in to 1000 ft and you can see the damn and my street in the same screen.

I think the island you are talking about is north of the damn actualy just on the outlet side. I live about a half mile away from it

Im looking to get a scale run going on the weekend of the 21st your spot looks sweet but just a little too far but say half way somewhere I would be down like maybe lansing area which us about the farthest I would drive for a gtg. Maybe one weekend though when I have time and more money lyons would be sweet. just let me know.

I'm like 30-40 mins past lansing from you...depending on how much of a lead foot you are.

I'm gonna cruise around lansing this weekend and see if I cant find some good crawling ground. I've got family there and the hobby shop isn't too far away even though I've got a crawler parts shop in my trail bag.

I'll keep ya posted

Ok sounds good. I'm looking forward to it. I'm actually in Ann Arbor and its a bit of a drive to lansing but i was thinking that if it is really worth it lyons shouldnt be too bad i guess though i should buy another battery before i go to make the time worth it. Plus less tempting to stop at the hobby shop and drop all my money again. lol.
Oh and dexter was ok just not a lot of things and area because of the construstion.

My house is only a 3 min drive from my crawl spot and I got my work truck its a box truck full of tools and heat and power so charging batteries and fixing breakdowns isnt a problem

Ok ok.... you talked me into it lol. I think i will come then on the 21st or whatever that saturday is. I got some guys my way that would probably go i will talk to them maybe we will all car pool. hopefully i wont break anything i just keep putting more and more money into everything lol. Well ill post it on the GTG thread i started earlier Or you can with an address and time.

Ok scratch that as soon as I said I could show on saturday I get a call fof my neices bday. So sunday should work a lot better. If that is cool with you.
