Default Sunday GTG 3/18/12
Kind of a feeler....

Anyone want to get together and run 2.2 crawlers? I don't care where, I just want to set up a few gates and run just for practice. The weather looks pretty good as of now for something out side.

Post up some ideas:

Dexter
Greg's
The place in Grand blanc
Larry's
Auburn Hills

I would not mind coming out to run the crawler and meet some of you guys. Im a new member so you guys pick where and we can meet up. Im pretty open to any of them, I just want to crawl.

Well looks like dexter is closed down just drove by and the town is blocked off. Not to mention the damage and debri there.

Yeah my place Sunday 11am we can set up some scale runs and get a few gates going to practice 2.2 a little before next weekends trip to indy

Well guys hate to say it but just spent the last several hours out back cleaning the rocks and holy shit! There are a foot of leaves in some areas. It would take me much more than the time I have to finish cleaning them. I have a clean up crew coming soon but not today! I will have to say we need to go to auburn hills instead. Unless of course you guys bring a lot of blowers and several rakes, but believe me, we would be cleaning more than driving and I would rather wait till they are cleaned.

Sorry for the short notice but did not think it was that bad the last time I was out there.

Kevin says that some guys would be willing to clean but I'm telling ya there is a lot of leaves and deadfall it would take several hours to move all the rock to get the leaves and small branches out of the rocks, and that's not including what's around the pilesthat would need to be cleaned.

So are you guys gonna do auburn hills tommorow? What are the rocks like there? Is it mostly comp runnin? All I own is scalers so I don't know what to be prepared for since I've never been there.

that's alot of work for the cause and it gets old Quick Miss the friends but dont miss the rocks if that makes any sense

Is anyone heading out somewhere in the oakland county area tomorrow? If the weather holds out it would be good to check something out that's new to me. If rocks need to be cleared I can bring a stihl leaf blower with me that makes quick work of moving leaves?

Yes I believe Auburn Hills police station is the spot. On the corner of Squirrel rd and university and the entrance is just south of university on squirrel. C-ya there if the weather holds out. It's clear skies now
