Newbie Brooklyn crawler

Hello,

I am fairly new to the sport but really want to dive in to it and compete at local events or join a club. I have a 1/8 Exceed Mad Torque -I know its not the best but its what I can afford :-) . I am also looking at getting a 1/10 rig as well. Is there any clubs in my area?

Welcome,

MiRca is gonna be your local club, but no one runs 1/8 crawlers. Everyone local runs 1/10th crawlers. We have a comp coming up in June 10 at Dexter this would be the closest we get to the Jackson area. feel free to stop by and watch, ask questions and see what we are all about.

If I join would I be able to compete on the June 10th event in Dexter? I'm hoping to get a 1/10 crawler before that date. I don't have much money to spend and have been looking at E-bay. Is there members who have lower end rigs like exceeds or rs10?

Yep, buy a 1/10 scale crawler, show up, and run........It's that easy.

It's Warrior creek park, Im not sure if it has an address. It's located next to the fire station.
