at the pier (channel) on the rocks, done those before.
What kind of rig do you run, that would also be helpful to know.

X2. The state park is great for scalers. Usually run from the pier back to where the fisherman's parking lot ends.

Check out the WSM G2G thread for when we meet around gr and other areas. There are prob 12 of us with scalers around.

I'm in Holland, btw.

Re: west michigan?

are you talking about the north pier, or the south pier where the state park is?

Re: west michigan?

I have wondered about running the rocks along the North Pier, but never have.
I am referring to the ones at the South pier and State Park.

For a scaler, the sand fills in decently between half the crevices providing a line for most rigs.

yes the south pier for sure, keep an eye on the WSM thread for posts on when we gather. We go out on weekends and crawl somewhere, and always welcoming new people.
