MiRca 2014 usrcca series comp #1... Saturday December 7th!!!

Hey fellas, sorry for the late official post, but we will have our first comp of the 2014 series at my pole barn this Saturday December 7th at 10am. As always we will run 2.2 pro, and if there are enough (3 or more I believe) we will run sporty as well... Come on out guys! I miss everyone and can't wait to re light the rc fire under my butt

My crawler moved on its own, for the first time in almost 3 months, last night.
Some new motors and speed controllers from Mr. Holmes, a new chassis, and being put on a diet has yielded an interesting crawler..
I'm sure it will need some tuning, but should be ready for Satuday.

Last night I also finished the code for my first set of 3-piece wheels. Tonight I will be cutting the last 4 parts and should have them mounted up and ready to go for Saturday.

I can tell you, the courses I set up will be pretty easy. Can't wait to have some fun on the rocks tomorrow, get mouth deep in some BBQ, and hang out with some good friends....

Hey guys! Yesterday was a blast despite the cold.. It was awesome to see everyone again, and those were some crazy tough courses! I just wanted to thank everyone for coming out, an I can't wait for the next one!

Hey guys, here are the scores. I have an idea to make the USRCCA and season points more fun. Next comp I'll let everyone know, then we can decide which we like, the new way or the same as we've always done. I think the new way might be more exciting for everyone, but we'll vote! Only effects the season scores, not the comp scores.

I was at auburn hills on last Thursday pulling permits.... It's still all covered in snow. I was out on my corse this weekend. It's mostly snow free now but real muddy perfect for scalin

Just trying to gauge the interest in this, if no one wants to do any comps anymore. I may sell all my comp stuff.

I'm in for whatever, but as Farmer stated, losing the support of [i refuse to even reference the name anymore] and the rocks that used to be the site of a majority of our winter comps, there aren't many other options. Ben stated he was going to be "making some changes" after the first comp, not sure how that ended up but I got the impression it wasn't going to be very crawling friendly. I may be off base since I haven't talked to him in a while now, but that's the last I remember.

I would love to take out the crawler, but until the weather breaks, there aren't many (any) options available before then?

If/when something gets planned, I'm in. Until then, I'll be waiting for the warmer weather so I can resume my non-work life. lol
