Discuss your thoughts, plans and/or random BS related to the when and where for crawling in the up-and-coming calendar year. I'll start; there looks to be a potential boulder wall under construction on the south west corner of silverbell rd. and bald mountain rd. May be something to keep in mind this spring? https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&l...06491&t=h&z=18 Any thoughts on Stoney Creek? Richfield Park? Timerwolf Campground or whatever the place is that's just down the road from the bike track? Ben's place is great, don't get me wrong, just looking for other indoor options to help break things up now that Larry's R/C has made it clear they don't value or want our business anymore. Do we need to make some synthetic rock (shot-crete? hollow rock-like covers for wells? etc?) platforms to set up mobile indoor courses? |

Love it!!!! I for one would like to get some kind of schedule together for this spring and summer. Not necessarily for competitions but more of a relaxed, every couple of weeks on Saturday after 11am kinda thing. If we had some kinda of schedule I could make plans/adjustments with my work schedule. One of the main things I miss is the scouting trips. We just find a place that looks like it has potential and a few of us go and check it out. This would lend itself very well to the adventure trail truck stuff that most of us seem to be craving for. I realize some of these places will need the permission of the owners, but that is part of the adventure too. Brice, I think any of those places you mention have a lot of potential and we should plan to check them out soon as spring, springs! LOL Great place to toss out ideas and discussions for our crawling adventures Brice. |

I moved up here a couple months ago from NC. Has there been any events this year? I am really looking forward to getting my xr10 out again.
