Sounds cool, how does the points system work? What is each driver being scored on?

So, running a course with gates and counting progress, reverse's, roll overs, truck touches....ect?

Reading through the Sorcca rules it looks like the rules are divided out by truck set up and scale appearance and put into a class. The way I read it, and just gives points like a car show?

Just trying to understand how someone gets scored.

Re: Michigan scale point series

All normal progress, reverse, rollover points ect will be their.
It'll run like a normal comp
At the end of the day whoever got 1st or 2nd or whatever position they will get points based on the position.

Ex. 1st 100pts
2nd 75
3rd 50 then go down from there.

We are have a meeting at Davis burg on the 18th at 1 pm to discuss more in person for those that can make it and wanna learn more about the rules

I'm sorry to sound sour but.... I don't remember anyone asking to use my place for an event . Just saying its a lot of prep for me to hold one and a little communication goes along way "thumbsup"

Thanks

Yeah a few times actually lol I didn't even think about that. Was just thinking of a good wooded, public, hilled area.

Rcaddict747- you must have been to some of the events we all held last year, what kind of truck did you run, just out of curiosity? I'd like to get an idea of who you are. I had the yellow YJ...

Just to put a face with the post

I ran a couple comps in ohio and out in rose city.
I believe I just had my rusty Toyota with a wood bed at most events

I don't have a problem holding it. I was told that I would be holding the event on April 18th, not may 23rd that's what IM not happy about.

Heres the thing I told Aaron last night when he was over, I don't want to be asked by the person that's not holding the event ie Aaron. I want to be asked by the person who is holding the event ie you bud. So until someone ie you asks me there will be nothing held on my property. So I'll be waiting for a pm or a phone call. That's how things need to be handled.

I think it's a bunch of shit that all this has been decided on via Facebook. If you guys don't want to keep the rest of us involved then I don't see this going very far. There's a lot of us of rcc that will never be on Facebook period, so show a little respect for the rest of us that love this hobby as much as the rest of you.

Edit: So I was contacted and everything has been handled. For future event planners, I don't ever normally have a problem holding events. All that needs to be done is get ahold of me ask and you shall receive access to scale heaven! Lol. I hope this turns into a good thing for us all! And I'm feel privileged to be able to have a place for you guys to run!

Thanks
Lee
