Grand Rapids area crawl spots Hello all, I'm fairly new to RC cars, but decided to dip my toe in the water with a Redcat Everest 10. I've been pretty pleased with its performance thus far and have been having a lot of fun with it. I've been crawling on a mini rock course I made in my yard. I've also taken it to a couple parks. The best park I've found thus far was Cascade Township park. It has several small rock fields and also a large dirt mound from construction. Anyone know of any good places to crawl around GR? I've heard Johnson park, but haven't been yet to check it out. Can anyone confirm this or recommend other spots? Thanks! |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots hi. talk to the guys here. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/michi...-chat-193.html or look up west michigan r/c crawlers on facebook. |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots Thanks! I'll take a look at that thread. I didn't realize what the abbreviation meant, so I hadn't checked it out yet. |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots How's it going bud, a few guys usually get out on the weekends, your more than welcome to come along. |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots Sounds good, I'd probably be up for it depending on the timing. I'm also thinking about checking out the RC park in Saranac. |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots In my opinion, Johnson Park isn't very good, but I haven't explored all of it yet. If you're interested in trails, Blandford Nature Center and Aman Park are nice places. Both have some place with rocks to crawl on, but with this being western Michigan there aren't a ton of rocks... |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots No one must visit this page too often. |
Re: Grand Rapids area crawl spots not any more. most of the guys that where regulars quit and moved on. we used to do trail rides and sometimes comps nearly every weekend. |
