Default 1/20th yota build

Well i started the yota and wasn't going to post until i was finished but im having trouble with the three link in the rear.
right now it just won't twist the way i want it to, and i'm thinking if i cant get it right i'll probably just 4link it, but any suggestions would be awesome
sorry the pictures are crap something is up w/ my camera.

I changed the rear back to a 4-link, the front isnt really a 3-link i dont think you could call it that. But yes it works.

If you have the room to add it, a four-link is a better way to go anyhow. Can't wait to see some more progress!

Looking good but you do realize the ball studs just unscrew right? You don't need to pop them off every time. And if your ball cups are like mine were with no access to the ball stud because of no opening, just drill it out ;) Just figured I'd give you a quick tip! Keep up that good work though!

Right on. the only thing with that to me is that i would rather wear out a ball joint or break a homemade link instead of wearing out the threads on the axle.
but thanks for the tip.

so i was just on the bay and man there are some 1/20s coming out of the wood work, almost dissapointed i didn't wait a while longer. lol

Looks fantastic! The fuel cell, the jack everything looks great, and the stance too! I've gotta work something out with the Silverado it sits at a nice height, but seeing your build, makes it look like a monster!

thanks guys i just re-adjusted the links again and, i am fairly happy with the articulation so far but i might end up four linking the front end, after all that i realized i used up the room i had for the servo lol so the fuel cell might come in even more handy than i thought. should i dove/bob the rear end ?

not even...
I triangulated 4 link might be better in some areas
but a 3 link will always win over a straight 4 link

yeah im thinking thats what i want to do, but i want it to look like a daily driver too. I don't know if a bobbed bed is street legal here or not but neither are bead locks.

got some updates

i think i may have went over board with the bumper a bit.

Nice build so far! I was looking at the pic near the middle of the thread where you can just see your custom frame work up front in the front wheel well..... looks good, any body off pics of the front half?
