exactly what the title says what metal is used for tubers and for custom chassis's and skid plates?

steel .sheets and brake line tubing or solid rod. most use mapp gas, silver solder, i like harris soldering products

I personally like using FOR RENT sign rod.

adamantium and unobtanium ... Jk
for the micros its generally brass as it is easier to bend and solder for small parts. someone else will hopefully chime in where they get it online. But some local hobby shops carry it. if yours does then just bring your micro with you to get an idea of the sizes you need.

I havent worked with brass yet. this is just what ive seen on the various forums

X2 i used brass as well on my micros, but it was hard to bend small stuff, without heating it up.
