Thanks. You know, all of this could be done with a hacksaw, a hand drill, and a Dremel. I have been modeling for long time and one of the first tools I ever bought myself was a Dremel. That opened up a world of possibilities.....

Heh, I love the work you did on that Dodge. I dont think I have gushed enough about it.

I have most of the pieces cut for the windshield cage but I may not install it because of C.G. issues. Right now I am trying to decide what color to paint it.

Thanks alot shape it was a fun build. Maybe you could make the cage/roof rack kinda removable and go either way? It would look so BA with that stuff on it. MerryChristmas!

I always see people post "this is the best micro build"
but the level of detail and craftsmanship that you have in this thing is truly top notch and its not even done!. the bolt on accessories make it even better. I don't think i could even drill those tiny parts straight
BTW are those short shocks modified Micro T parts? I noticed the ball ends on the axle side

I got the shocks from this guy http://cgi.ebay.com/70S-CHEVY-LOSI-M...item1e6088c273

I think they are too big for micro T parts though

The shocks look like they are off of a Mini-Z Overland, spotted some on ebay yesterday looking at wheels.

Found some on ebay, think this is it.

I am amazed at the abilities here. You work is another fine example of exactly how much I have yet to learn!

The wheelbase is just a bit too high to be perfect factory scale, but you see the type of terrain I have at home so it works out well.

A low res video here. Youtube killed my soundtrack. It was Van Halen Little Guitars....

Not only does that look amazing, it also looks pretty stable considering it has to be a tad top heavy. Builds like this make me want to try my hand at making my own scaler. Might have to once I get my tools out of storage.

Two big thumbs up on the build, everything on it looks damn good.

Thanks! I am using air dampened shocks and it really makes a difference.

BTW, I just weighed the little beast and AUW is 1lb 4.2oz (572.6 grams).
