Default Aboout to pull the trigger on a trekker

But I was wondering if I order the Dynamite lipo how o I charge it?

I have a hyperion eos 0606i ir soething like that. But the batteries shown o not have a lipo balance plug? How does that work?

Can I just use my charger without having to buy the Losi charger battery combo and the seperate Dynamite battery?

Thanks any help is appreciated.

Also I ordered the Aoshima 4Runner model. Will that fit? it said it's 1:24 scale.

you should be able to use your charger. I mean I don't see why not. It has a losi plug on the end of it. so you could change it over to deans or what ever connector you use and charge away. As for the body it may fit. You might have to do a little fab work to either lengthen/shorten links to get it just right but for the most parts it should fit. keep us updated.

When I had my Hyperion EOS0606i I remember you can balance charge in lipo mode or just regularly charge in lipo mode.

No need to balance on a 1s. It's just one cell. I use a Futaba banana plug to charge my Dynamite 1s lipo ignitor so basically same concept!

1S would be slooooowwwww, the stock 4.8V NiMH is already pretty lethargic. I would get a 2S LiFe receiver pack or something instead!

Well ended up buying the LOSI exceleroin 2s lipo charger combo with the trekker. It significantly wakes up the truck.

I also got the Aoshima body and it arrived damaged. I did put the body onto the truck and it looked a little small.

I've seen a bunch of cool ones in the Picture archive, but not where people got them. I like the red jeep and FJ cruiser and when I looked on toysrus couild not find the correct ones, nothing in 1:20 scale at least.

I'll most likely use the stock battery and duble side tape it to the servo and run some LED's off of it for head and tail lights, as for the lipo it'll run the truck and get double sided tape'd to the rear axle.

If and when is only a short matter of time before I do the tranny flip, will I have to resolder the motor wires backwards?

Check out Road Rippers toys. Alot of people use the FJ and jeep body for micro builds. They are the ones with the trailer behind the rigs.

I have a 1/20 scale body on mine, looks great/scale. But I did have to bob the bed, but that made it even more scale haha.
