Update: One of my Li-Po battery wire fall off the plug...

So I decided to make my own AAA battery pack using 2 Gen. 1 battery tray, with this set up, I get a lot more run time, but those AAA's are so much heavier compare to the Losi batteries.

Got my GPM front lower arm today.

GPM front lower arm installed, with new steering links.

If you look closly, looks like he took some styrene tube and just made "spacers" that went through the screw that connects the bulkhead.

More like BIG washers

Thanks! This is design to be like a prerunner, or something I can drive outdoor that is faster than my LMC Hilux.

Update: Did some more modification to the chassis, got the battery packs to sit right.

Battery packs can be screw to the chassis to hold them in place.

It got some good flex.

Now for the body mounts.

Ride height:

When its in the air:

Will bring it to Central Park tomorrow to test it out and see how it works.

Thanks CW! She's not really a crawler, more of a runner, but she does do pretty good on the rocks as a RWD.

Update: Took it to Central Park today, it was a blast to drive. Did some speed run, rock crawling, mudding, some jumps, it have no problem at all. Video will be post up tomorrow.

Thanks Liighthead! I was just cursing around yesterday, and each set of those AAA's gives about 20-25 mins run time.

Update: Video is up, ignore that Beetle driver.

Thanks man! The spring rate are fully adjustable, it was at the softest setting before, and the rear were a bit heavier compare to the front, but now I've raised the rear end a bit, and they seems to sit level with the front now.

Update: Chopped the tailgate and getting ready to get started on the roll cage.

there we go. now the rear looks right. might have a little more sway in the steering and be able to break the tail end loose a little easier now with it being level. keep it up and hurry!!!! I need to see this thing finished.

Thanks guys!

Update: Getting some more work done on the crew cab. Filled up the gap with styrene and a layer of putty to smooth it out.

While waiting for the putty to dry, I moved on to the grill.
