| I finished up the front and rear shock mounts so I now have an official roller! The hot racing shocks turned out to work really well. The mounting hardware and the three sets of springs for tuning is a nice touch. And the rear....... This little rig has some flex with the lightest springs installed. The CG is still relatively low. Have to wait and see what happens once I get the battery figured out. Now it's time to get on with the electronics and see what we're working with! Last edited by crawlski; 11-18-2011 at 09:33 PM. |

| I finished up tying the sub-frame in with the main frame. So with that finished up I threw some electronics at this little rig. I was running a 1s 400 Mah li-po with stock losi esc and stock losi transmission. It had lots of top speed but as soon as you try to climb anything it was just stalling out. The problem was running the losi transmission with the sumo axles. The sumo axles are geared to go along with the sumo's gear reduced motor. Easy enough to fix, just replace losi transmision with sumo transmision. Switching the tranmision over was a change for the better. I like how the motor sits up front now. This opens up alot of room inside of the cage for battery and Rx/esc placement. Last edited by crawlski; 11-21-2011 at 03:04 PM. |

| The transmission swap left alot of room on either side of the transmisssion. This works out killer because now I can run two thunder power 1s 325mah lipos. I made up a harness to run them in series, So it ends up at 2s 325mah 45c. Plenty of power for this little ripper. Sorry I did'nt take any pictuers of the build up on the electronics and batteries. I was to close to having this thing running. I will get some shots of what's going on under all that wire when I take it back apart. All I can say is this little rig performs! I can't believe how well this rig turned out. Overall it does very well. Cg is a little high after the electronics and batteries were installed. Need to change up the rear upper links mounting location because they are hitting the shocks at full compression.Still have a couple little issue's but nothing too major. I will try and get some video around the house today! Last edited by crawlski; 11-24-2011 at 01:09 PM. |

| I did'nt get a chance to take any video but I did get some panels made up. Went ahead and sprayed them with outlaw black and called her good. I still need to get the the rest of the chassis painted. Not sure what color for the chassis yet. I was thinking black on black. Still have a few things to add to the body like brake lights, a front bumper, and something to break up all the black. |

I think fluorescent orange or lime tubework would look sharp with the black panels.

| Thank you. Quote:
Lime green would be cool. What do you think, is the green and black paint scheme to close to grave diggers colors? | |
