Cheers crazycrawler .

The tires are just stock Losi Trekker tires ,with every second outer lug cutoff, and the foams have been removed aslo.

Thats a good idea! Looks great!

Wheres your battery and stuff?

vipxj 08-06-2011 07:27 PM

Got abit more done.
Battery will sit infront of trans on an angle,as low as possible.
And ESC will sit on top of trans,at the moment anyway

That looks alot better than before! Good job."thumbsup"

vipxj 08-07-2011 12:03 PM

Thanks ,yeah looks better forsure.
Ive actually got the room on each side of the motor to mount the ESC and battery, and they will be mostly covered by the side panels , and itll lower the COG abit.

Ty@Tekin 08-07-2011 03:19 PM

Nice, that is sweet!

vipxj 08-08-2011 12:25 PM

Thanks TY.
I started fabbing a TJ hood, and need to get some more stryene sheet for the side panels , but the tubework is mostly done.
Its a fun little project.

Hydro-Tank 08-08-2011 12:51 PM

Are you going to do any painting with it?

vipxj 08-08-2011 08:36 PM

Yeah, paint the tubework black and the panels red ,or something like that.

Hydro-Tank 08-08-2011 11:00 PM

that will be nice/cool. So you are just doin some mock up stuff right now, like see how it will all piece together?

vipxj 08-10-2011 12:14 PM

Chassis is done, exsept for paint,so just the body panels to build now.

Hydro-Tank 08-10-2011 08:17 PM

A good idea I just thought of...use your favorite beverage can...it will be like real scale damage! I am talking about useing it like side panels."thumbsup"

Sorry about the late reply, your thread got buried from all the others haha.

I am not good at the tube stuff at all. LOL. So it would look like crap by the time I got done with it.

You got any thing new with the tuba?

vipxj 08-20-2011 12:39 PM

No probs CRAZY, No,no updates of late , must get back onto it,and finish it.

Stryene is like anything,it just takes practice, but all good.
And i see you got a new toy as well, very cool,"thumbsup"
