Default Losi Trekker Mods!!!

I ordered the Big Block and the rest of the Aluminum bits and pieces but now I can't decide on a Ridgeback or an SMC 4.5. The SMC would make a nice Monster with a scale body but not a good crawler. I'm leaning towards a Monster with lights and QLO Tires on beadlocks.

What do you guys think would be most fun for tooling around the apartment?

But then the Ridgeback with a Beetle Baja body with Black paint and flames would be sick.

the international warehouse will take a few weeks and they are out of stock in the USA warehouse as of now.

Try value hobby. they are in Illinois and shipping is always just a few days to me in FL. In fact I have yet another order from there that should get here tomorrow. prices have gone up a tiny bit since i started shopping with them but its still cheap.

I'm a complete boob when it comes to.batteries and charters and connections, that's why I asked if that battery would work. It's idiot proof!

The biggest problem with the Trekker are the chassis arms that support the body. They damn near make it impossible to put anything on top of your servo or your rear suspension mount. I have done just about everything you can do to a trekker so next will be a new chassis with a better layout.

Mine is comming along too. I wanna clear all the mounts for up front so I can push the battery forward in the chassis but haven't figured a way yet. An SMC 4.5 or 5.5 may be in order.

I found that If you take out the spaces it lower everything and starts to hit the servo. So I dropped the shocks down to the bottom hole, removed spaces, removed springs, added 2s 300mah lipo, new custom esc/rx combo, 1/25 body, led lights, lanyard winch, stock wheels with tsl bogger tires (No foam) and wrapped solder tightly around the wheels 3 large wraps in the front and 2 in the rear. It looks very scale and performs amazingly.

How reliable is the rig in stock condition. I have been thinking about one with my tax refund money.
