Re: Building a Trailer

little more progress. figured out how im going to make the axles.

first bored out the ends of some 3/32 alum tubing so that the losi servo screws could fit.

then made a sleeve to space the wheel from the leaf spring.

stock servo screw and a washer found in old tool box.

now need to find a way to mount it to the trailer, should be easy enough

Re: Crawler Trailer

Figuered out how to mount my axles. cut styrene strips to lift the trailer
away from the springs so my tires wouldnt rub when my reg sat n it.

Re: Crawler Trailer

I love your trailer. I hope you don't mind seeing one in some of my pics in the future :D I want it to be a simple design, yet very functional, and you have created what I have envisioned. FWIW, I plan on using some type of ball and rod end for the hitch attachment. I'm going to try and find something that fits kind of lose, so I can pop it on and off by hand. I guess I'll be looking for a slightly smaller ball, or a slightly larger rod end :D
