Default New to micro and built a Ford F150 Trail Trekker

Hey guys I just recently got into micro (crawling that is) and just got my new Losi Trail Trekker.

Lovin the portability of this little truck.
Took her outside for a first run and here's some pics:

I've been kind of eyeing this little truck for a while now but one thing that didnt feel right to me was the body... it just looked a bit weird...
So I went through my old rc box and pulled out an Ford xmod truck. The wheelbase was perfect...and so after a bit of dremeling here and there, this is what I ended up with:

That looks ALOT better to me...anyways...tell me what you guys think!

Also got a question...I want to use lipos for this truck and from what I've read this comes with LVC.
I used lipos for all my RC's but I dont know what size this one runs...If some of you can, can you guys send me a link? thanks alot guys.

I'm running zippy 350mah 2s batteries and they fit great on the servo or on the back axle of my mcrc. I don't own a trekker but they should fit fine I would think. Btw I'm getting about 25-30 min runtimes with miclaws tires

Even with the shocks mounted in the lower holes I don't have much room for a battery over either axle but I did get the Losi 300mAh LiPo battery and it fits in the battery box perfectly. I was running my truck for over an hour tonight.

The DDT Predator Motor will give you loads of torque and one of the fringe benefits of the high turn motor is a lot more run time.

I would also get the HR Aluminum Gear Box and Aluminum 56t Spur. Glue the spur to the clutch plates.

Right now you wanna make sure your slipper clutch is plenty tight or you will have a tranny meltdown in the near future.

Also, just FYI, Integy makes the clutch plates in Aluminum.
