Default USA-1 build

This is going to be a slow build but hopefully a promising one using a micro trekker as a base, ill post pix as I make progress. But I do have my current build sheet/list-

Trekker/crawler axles, Trans, and electronics
Mad dog lipo (450mah, 45c, 2s)
USA-1 model
And a pullstart spring from an OS .30

So far I have my batt mounted-ish and my Trans.

Pix soon to follow

No doubt, rather have something dressed up with a bow tie rather than a circled problem, lol

Eventually yes it will have sumos and a micro sized outrunner 2300kv with no Trans. With the trekker axles and wheels, if my math is correct, it would do near 10mph, scale speed of 240.

no trans? how? and if you have a deep pocket and a knack for custom fabricating, give these a shot. RC4WD's micro axles? they look pretty scale IMO

No Trans is easy, find an outrunner (for planes) fab a system to mount the solid side of the motor directly connect the drive shafts to the output on either side of the motor

The knife in one of the pix, just the blade, is roughly 1.5 inches

Heres a normal Sharpie next to it

Looks good. Being from Minnesota I've always been a big fan of the 1:1. I've seen it in person many times. It's one of my favorite MT's. I'll be watching this.
