| BCT's micro build: "Ol' Rod Knocka"
Hey all. Started a build. Hoping it'll be a quick one! (And simple!) Started with a losi micro trail trekker. Did the Danally mod, and worked on some custom wheels that would fit this build. I'm mostly trying to use as many stock parts as I can, and make most of these changes minor, yet make a big impact on how the rig looks. Pics to come in a moment! |

| As you can see the stock bed is far too long to be able to use, and I don't want to stretch the wheelbase that much. So tonight's task is building a tube rear end for it. Ahh the smell of Plastruct. More to come at the end of the night. |

Got some work done on the tube bed tonight. I'm not sure if I like it though. What do you guys thing? Something just doesn't look right to me. Maybe some more scale details? Gussets, braces? Criticism welcome! |

Made some more progress today! Made a motor mount for the big ol 440! It's just a piece of styrene that's bonded to the oil pan. I also took the truck out for it's maiden voyage! Performed like it had a die cast body on top! Lol. What do you guys think? I'm also thinking of building a styrene bed and dove tailing it. |

Tilt the top of the tube bed forward so it's closer to the can and I think it will look great! Really an awesome truck there

Make the cage flush with the frame. Comnect it to the frame. It looks funny that high from the frame.
