Default '41 Willys Street rod

I've wanted to make a micro rig for a while now so here it goes.
This will not be a quick build, due to money...

I got a model car for Christmas a couple years ago, and haven't touched it. Also, my cousin got a trail trekker, so it motivated me even more to make a micro rig. I got to painting today

thanks for looking! Hoping to have an update soon!

Painted the inside of the body black, and mounted the front wheels! Pleasant surprise, it has steering!

Now, I'm thinking for power, I'll get a Toro 1/18 4100 kv 2 pole. Is that too big? Just an idea, can't find anything smaller for that price.

Now for the rear axle I want to use a losi trail trekker axle. How wide is it? I know I'm probably going to have to narrow it. The widest I would want it is about 2 1/4 wide. This is about what that would look like:

Comments appreciated!

Called my local hobby shop, and they said that they have done losi micro buggy rims that are about the same size as my model car rims, so that might help.

Made a small box to hip behind my dash board for light:

Also mounted the light buckets and grill

Small update:
Cut out the trunk so I can access the battery and receiver

Going to hinge mount it.
When I was attempting to make the antenna smaller by twisting it, the wire ripped off, add another $7 to the total...

Sorry man... With school, I have no time, and I've been spending most of my time on my scx10 and vintage buggy.

Gonna try to do some work in the axle. Started to make the pumpkin a little bigger so that the diff will fit. Trying to figure out what to do for the bushings.

For reference it next to my scx10 axle:

Kind of.
I'm carving the pumpkin, then I stinking I would buy tubes for the shafts, and mounts. It's all in the thinking process still. My top priority is for my scx10 at the moment, so this will be a slow build. Probably won't plan on having it done (chassis and axle wise) until January. But we will see.
