Thanks for all of the great feedback guys, its all much appreciated! This one has been a real test of my patience for sure but a lot of fun too.

The axles are from a guy in China that was over on scale4x4. My buddy Chevy55 just informed me the axles are available from banggood.http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...-p-942878.html He also did some 1/18 scale axles that look just like these as well.

So health issues have held me back from making any major progress on it but i'll bring ya all up to speed on what I have gotten done.

Drive shafts in, minimal clearance.

Just a tap of the soldering iron and she's nice and solid yet still easily removable.

Threw on an old lid for fun..

I redid the upper shock mounts on the nose of her, using 1.2mm nuts for the eye and a brass plug for the insert instead of aluminum this time.

Made a battery tray under the hood and dash, about the only free space around.

I also started a front bumper for it. I was going to do something with styrene but I just couldn't let go of the brass.

Cutout for...

A tiny little winch.

Tailgate gone..

Fillers glued in.

Also got the steering link made and installed.

Thank you! I snag the 1/32 model kits off ebay most times. There are quite a few pickup kits that were made some years ago and pop up for sale here and there

Sorry, no run vid yet. I've been having some paint issues like choosing terrible colors. Got it all stripped back down again and ready for the next round.

Before paint though I did get some little things done.

This is how the interior left a gap at the rear after I cut the tailgate open, not cool.

Like shown above with the fillers in place.

Then for the body side I made some little fillers for the jamb.

Got the interior side fillers ground and filed to shape and an extension glued in to the floor.

With both pieces fitting fairly well together. This setup actually locks down the body to the chassis in the rear

Next in my line of fire was the hole for the transfer case that I made to big:(

And a bit of primer..

Not a fan of captains chair in a crawler, even a toy one..

BAM!! They gone.

Details,Details. Still a bit of cleaning up and filling to do.

I ended up fitting a redcat sumo esc/receiver behind the dashboard.

Thats it for tonight, thanks again for following along guys!

Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate the comments and your time

Got a bit done the last few days.

Seat backs smoothed out.

And primer, some will never notice but they look better to me with a solid back..

A pic of the fit and finish around the rear. Getting close!

Did some more work on the front bumper also.

Chassis Mount and winch plate added.

I whipped up a little stinger and soldiered everything together. Whats your opinion? Keep this bumper or make a tube style one?

Next on the list, roll cage.

Main hoop

Then I added some fake shock hoop supports.

See, impostors..

Yay! It clears!

And finally this one will be able to run multiple bodies. I think this one should be a beater.

Thats about it for now, hope to get the cage buttoned up today.

Thanks again for watching!

So I finally got some progress on the cage

More tubing

More tube and bends, see its really tubing

A little tip, for bending this tube, I slip a piece of solder up the center while its still straight. Then bend to fit and pull out the solder to make nice kink free radius'.

On with the show. More tube.

Still fits!

And then, more tube's.

Yup..

Being tired of burning my fingers I started on some light styrene work.

Lastly, this is the start of something for taking pictures in the future.

Take it easy and thanks again for watching!

LOL Thats good cause I tried to copy what I did with that truck, one of my favorites! Still have all them hilux's?

So my arm's been bothering me a bit more than usual the last few days so I resorted to carving up some plastic. Remember I said this one will run more than one body?

Extremely beat against the rocks, learning myself how to do this the best way for my next build Its all kind of hard to see but ah well I guess.

Molding peeling off..

Just getting started on the drivers side.

More to come soon and thanks for stopping in

This build is so tiny! You have a lot of skill and patience (I'd literally pull my hair out of frustration trying to attempt a build this size).

Freaking awesome build!!!
