| Re: The mud season is coming, time to get ready! (Nissan 1/20)s Not really. I got all the pieces of the frame glued back together, but that's it. I still need to reinforce it. I bought some brass to help do so, but I've been really busy lately. And to be honest, I picked up a TT02D recently as my first 1/10 car. So all my hobby time has been spent building it recently. I did get a little discouraged when the truck got broke, but I will get this one done! It's too cool not to! I plan to build another also, using an S-10 blazer this time. And maybe a brass frame also... |

| Re: The mud season is coming, time to get ready! (Nissan 1/20) I know, I know, it's blasphemy, but I just had to. Sad thing is it's not even a crawler! But at least it's still four wheel drive, and I have been thinking about putting a Hilux shell on it. Actually I bought this thing to learn how to drift, because I have some 1/20 drifter builds in mind! Kinda like this mockup:

Just so everyone knows, this girl ain't dead! she's just been in a box for awhile. I now have the frame fixed, the motor fixed, and today I got a package from Fungi. Now I have the wheel I needed to finish this thing! So now it's just a little more paint, final assembly and she's off! |

This one is almost done! I just need to lay a few decals, spray some clear, then glue down the clear pieces, wire her up, and let her rip! It's been a longer build than expected, but aside from one major mishap, it's been fun! Here's a little snack preview for anyone interested. |

And here's one more just to give a good size comparison. This one's slightly taller than Ol' Blue. |

| Re: The mud season is coming, time to get ready! (Nissan 1/20) As pretty as she is, I did build her to be run! I will definitely be doing some mudding, but with the drought here in California, it might be a while before that happens. For now I'll just run her around in the dirt until we get rain. But don't worry, I do plan on some videos. Tomorrow I hope to get her all finished up, and if all goes well I might have some video in a few days. |
