Default ECX Temper Tires on Ambush

I got my Temper tires and wheels in today and mounted them up.

The bolted right up. I think they are a little less attractive than the stock tires, but they work better. The Temper wheels have a bigger offset. The stock tires were hitting the leaf springs at full lock.

On to pix!!

That's interesting. Is the rim the same size? Kinda hard to tell in the picture. We need more smaller tires.

Same crappy wheels they put on my RedCat Everest16

Tho' they are a true 1.9 and utilize 12mm hexes...
The fake bead lock wheels and glue on tires rather blow IMHO

I can't speak for the quality/traction of yer particular tires...
But would guess they aren't any better then mine.

So I'm not really sure why you feel they work better ?

Shorter tires effectively lowering the gear ratio ?

Yes the everest 16 comes with 1.9s but the 1/24 ecx temper does not it would look like a monster truck with 1.9s .

The temper tires are pretty decent, really. Soft and grippy. They are small though :(
