Hmm interesting. Very cool, It must be a newer board design. It has the slightly smaller size of the 10amp board and a fairly similar layout for the most part. It does have the larger FETs that the 20amp has so it should handle the same power and motors. Even though they are cheap enough to permanently use in each RC I like the fact it has a switch for the reverse brake. This makes me wonder if the Bangood version has even larger FETs and truly is a 30amp. Not that it really matters, but its always nice to have options. Thanks for the pix!

I got my rear steer squared away. Since some parts for these Losi micro crawlers are scarce, I Gorilla glued the servo on. It appears to be pretty solid. But by doing this it sticks out a little more than if I had the proper plate. But should I be able to find the proper part I can peel it off and screw it on. I could cut some of the lower servo mount to slide the servo back, but then I couldn't use it later. This and the long servo saver was hitting my body. So I cut down the servo saver and made a normal horn out of it. Now I need my ESC to show up and I'm in business. |

I can't find another trans mount or the piece to mount the servo on the axle.

I have some extra parts at home, I can see what all I have when I get home later. I know I don't have any extra trans mounts, but I might have everything else you need.

Fungi aka Jim might be able to help with something. Or you could fab something up with styrene

I just saw eBay has the Hot Racing aluminum trans mount/skid plate in stock.

They want $8. There's an HR servo mount for too much, too. I may just buy this and use my Tx and, Rx/ESC: http://m.banggood.com/HSP-94480-124-...-p-928462.html I can't see buying another $140 Trekker just to use half of what's in the box. I bought a RTR Honcho and made a Wroncho. Only having a set of axles, I was able to put together another new Honcho for right at $100. Just seems weird there's no one hustling parts or these micro crawlers besides a few HR bits. Last edited by Brake Weight; 10-10-2015 at 06:05 PM. |

I've got both mg90s rattle canned black and mounted up. I clipped the servo plugs off to shorten the wires and hopefully I can get around tonight to putting on new plugs and give it a test run.

Today I made two servo connections. Only 6 wires and what a meticulous PITA it was. But it's rear steer again and will making the pilgrimage to Disney World tomorrow with the family.

So these esc that are listed here , Are they an esc and receiver combo? How would you know which radio would work with them. They look a lot smaller than the stock losi , cause sometime space is to tight to put were you what it.

I'm running a Chinese ESC and a Sprectrum sr3520. Hobby shop price on the Rx was more than I got the used dx3e with a Losi branded Spectrum Rx, ESC, and mg90s servos. Go figure. I got two Orange Rx for about $30 shipped and they're clones of the low end 3ch Spectrum Rx...old style. Not the new. They work with the dx3e I have and I'll be taking one from its case and heat shrinking it to tuck out of the way more. Right now the Rx is hanging out like whodathunkit. ESC alongside the tranny. Rx all in the way. I'll remove it from its case and hopefully tuck it like the ESC down the other side of the tranny. |

Oh, and all those wires need addressing. Lose the ESC switch and shorten up the throttle wire.

Cool build, a buddy of mine built one similar and I love driving it. That van body looked pretty darn good!
