Orlandoo ESC alternatives I'm figuring out what all I need to order for the new Orlando kit, and it seems like the reviews on the orlandoo esc unit are mixed at best. Are they any good? What other options are there for micro escs? |
Re: Orlandoo ESC alternatives I use this: Losi Micro rock crawler Mrx esc-3100/0831 DSm-LOSB And that's fine! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...922/EYMi1c.jpg The only downside is that we must change connectors ... Bye, Joël |
Re: Orlandoo ESC alternatives I think I might just end up trying the stock ESC right off the bat. Now my only problem is finding a seller that has the kit, servo, esc, and motor all IN STOCK at the same time. I literally might end up with 3 orders for 4 items. Banggood likes to make it look like they have something in stock until it's time to checkout. Jerks. |
Re: Orlandoo ESC alternatives Im guessing you can use any esc should it fit so long you do not mind some minor connctor surgery. That is my plan anyways. Just thought I would add that if you use a normal esc that you should not use a low voltage servo. Believe the banggood esc and low volt servo are connected to ensure the servo doesnt see high voltage. |
Re: Orlandoo ESC alternatives Pulled the trigger on a kit, servo, stock ESC, 300rpm motor, lipo, extra tires, and foams. $92 total from Banggood after 10% coupon. That is a killer price. All I need to add is paint and RX, which should put me just over $100 all said and done. I'm excited to try my hand at a hard body! |
