I'm curious about how you got that 180 motor to fit. Does it bolt right in, or did you modify it to fit? Also, I'm wondering what shocks your running? Those are not stock obviously. Do they allow for more flex? And one more question, are those the brass wheel weights for the micro crawler, or the trail trekker?

The only thing I did to the transfer case was make the motor hole a touch bigger for the collar of the motor to slide in. The motor even came with a pinion that works and the mounting holes line up perfectly. The shocks are sumo micro crawlers with the RC4WD rod ends. The springs are from some pens I tore apart. The brass weights are designed for the trail trekker, but they bolt right up. Only thing I did was make the center hole on the wheel a touch bigger to allow that barrel nut to slide through.

Went over to my Buddy with RC Scale Worx last night and got a couple of cool 3d items printed for my rig!

Those new items look fantastic! That grill really sets it off, Mike did a great job on it. "thumbsup"

Got some fender flairs and wheel wells done. Also made some killer tires for it! I loved the size of the rc4wd scramblers, but liked the more aggressive tread of the rock creepers, so I used 6 creepers and the sidewalls from the scramblers and made some really tall creepers! They are fantastic!

Any body off pics with wheelwells installed? Tires are perfect and the steel white spokes set them off perfectly! :)

What does it crawl like with the motor ? Does it have enough torque ?

Yep, has plenty of torque. I did lose some with the huge tires, but it's 10 times better than stock!

Great car!

Looks like you have improved the steering seriously compared to the stock gelande. How did you manage to get that nice steering?

With that motor did you have issues with the nut for the upper rear link?

Does yours sound obnoxious now, or is it is just MY old servos motor? Definitely more torque, but its noisy now(for me)

Great build! Hope its still treating you well.

You mentioned trying other motors, any luck?

This motor works brilliant. It is noisier though.

Great build, I like the innovation and execution. Excellent job on the tires. What wheels are those and where did you source them?
Thanks crash
