Default Orlandoo trailer

I have been playing around with the idea of doing a trailer for my orlandoo Hunter. Last night I started the process of building an M101 cargo trailer and custom hitch for my orlandoo f150.

(Moderators: I am posting from my phone on Tapatalk. If the pictures don't resize, let me know so I can fix it.)

I started with an Italeri 1/35 plastic model kit. I switched out the plastic axil with 0.47in music wire (the wheels spin really nice). I also had to reinforce the trailer chassis going up to the tongue because the styrene plastic was pretty flimsy. I removed the plastic trailer tongue and replaced it with the music wire and an extra orlandoo ball joint connector.

For the towing hitch on the truck, I cut out a piece of scrap plastic from the orlandoo part tree. I used a small hand drill provided in the orlandoo f150 kit to drill a hole, then used an extra orlandoo ball joint for the ball hitch. I then glued it under the rear bumper with plastic model glue for strong adhesion. I didn't want to do a bumper mounted hitch because I wanted it to look like the truck had the tow package. I also didn't want the hitch to block the license plate that I will be putting on later.

That came out really good, imagine if you made a real leaf spring for it

My 6yo son wanted to have a car carrier trailer... So we made one from scratch together. I decided to do it out of bass wood and CA glue as a quick prototype. In the future I might make it out of brass and solder.

Day 1:
Making the frame
Making the leaf springs
Installing axle housing
