That looks good! How well does it handle with the die-cast body?

That's my concern. However, I'd be curious to see a running video. I've been interested in putting one of those bodies on mine. If it isn't to top heavy, it might make a nice scale trail rig.

with the metal chassis and axles to balance it out it might not be too bad - overall weight isn't going to help the stock motor setup though. It looks fookin marvelous though mate, great job. ![]() |

| ![]() That's kinda what I was thinking too. I think I might have to pick one of these up to try it. I've already got a dual motor setup in mine so it should handle the extra weight. Worth a try at least.

I am in the process of copying Sparks1337 motor conversion. Using a 180 motor. He was very kind to sell me his spare parts for me to make it. ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |

Ordered a G2-18th off RPP today, maybe it'll make it here Friday. I couldnt resist, my SCX has bearing on the way and the G2 qualifies for free shipping and "DC20" coupon code; I chose to get Baja claws, so my total is $195 shipped for it with a spare set of tires. I will be watching your progress and mods. In regards to the heavy body; From videos it looks like more weight will help it; it appears that the suspension is too stiff, but again, I haven't received mine yet to really judge. Yours look great with that body! In comparison to the dirt grabbers, how well do the baja claws work in soft sand/dirt? Last edited by SurfinStud; 12-27-2016 at 08:25 AM. |

New motor fitted and it is 200% better. I am not liking the controller so I am going to get a micro esc and used my spectrum tx. Space is limited so I cut the rear floor and seat out. Covered it with scale chequer plate, this gives me space to mount the electrics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |
