Got an f150 kit a while back. Immediately put it together and before I could get the servo installed, I took it back apart for a different build. I had the bronco kit before I even ordered the orlandoo as well as micro dt tires. Anyways here's my progress so far Narrowed the bet tires and rims and modded them to fit the Orlando wheels Oversized servo ( apparently micro has a different meaning in other countries lol) Burnt up the Orlando esc so a mamba micro esc will do (more overkill haha) 2 s 350 mah lipos De-cased tactic rx Decided I didn't want to deal with the stock chassis so I started on grafting everything to the model kit chassis which worked out great! Then came time for the trans, took the gear motor and pinion and the output gear/shaft and made a simple motor forward t case setup. Very smooth and compact, works great In the chassis. Once that was done I had to figure out the front shock mounts so I made new ones to push the bottom of the shocks farther outward so they would clear the chassis. This also worked well as I can still turn full lock in both directions and get no interference. Was able to keep it nice and low and still clear all components. Still waiting on my other set of dt wheels and tires to come in -.- Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |
