Default Orlandoo Hunter Alloy Shock Fix

Have you recently upgraded to the stronger alloy shocks and noticed its bouncing all over the place and flops around?

I have a fix for you....

First off the springs are to long... using a cut off wheel remove 2 coils from the springs (now the preload adjuster can be used to set rideheight and are not just for looks )

next... the rear springs are to soft and offers little stability
my advice is to fit the optional 1.5 springs to the rear but dont forget to remove 2 coils like before and using the preload adjuster to set the ride height

Now for turning these fancy spring holders into shocks....
all fixed... the shocks just needed a drop of Losi 7000wt oil each

1-Remove shocks from vehicle
2-remove top cap, (careful not to take of the spring adjuster, its a pain to get back on)
3-compress shock and get ready with a drop of 7000wt oil
4-as u place a drop, slowly uncompress the shock so it sucks the oil in
5-cover the top with ur finger and cycle the shock a few times
6-fully compress the shock and wipe away excess oil
7-refit the cap and its good to go
After reassembly, if the shock is excessively stiff. repeat steps 6-7,

it only needs a tiny tiny bit... rather than using silicon oil as a hydraulic limiter, in this setup its used to make everything a little bit "sticky" to slow down the action, and the reason for the really thick oil is because these shocks dont have a o ring so anything thinner might leak out
