I'm a little disappointed. When I thought it was an XJ Cherokee, I wanted one. I thought it looked a little funny, and was hoping to see better pictures before buying. After looking at the pictures more closeliy, I definitely think Pajero (or Montero in the US). Oh well. I've been debating one of these Orlandoos for a while.

Got mine the other day. Similar chassis to the jeep just extended a bit. Found it nice with the longer chassis and bigger body. Much easier to stuff all the electronics into. First time attempting to paint weathering/damage/rust |

I heard someone saying they have also revised the shocks, wheels and its not just a lengthened chassis, the gearbox has been moved back to improve front shaft angles?

I sent a reply with some pictures a while back outlining answers to your questions, said mods had to approve or something?? Anyways, -Design wise the shocks seemed the same, however it feels like much lighter springs which makes the body movement seem much more realistic. -Wheels have been changed, diameters are roughly the same but they were narrowed a bit for the pajero -And with lengthening the frame rail style construction this did in fact move the gearbox back a bit. The driveshaft angles are pretty nice now on this model. My initial comment about a lengthened chassis meant more along the lines that they based the kit off the jeep style construction and not the F150 chassis type construction. |

Strange, Didn't notice anything different during assembly but also wasn't paying that close attention lol. Checked over the instruction manual comparing to the other 2 orlandoos and all the part numbers are identical as far as shock components go, perhaps there has been an update to all of them and stuck with the same part number. |

The ball ends are improved over the ones in the a01, that’s for sure. I built 2 a01s, & both had too stiff or too loose ball ends. The links would either fall off or wouldn’t pivot under their own weight. They are perfect on my a02. The only problem I had is cracking 4 of them while getting them on to the rods, leaving me with just enough to get the thing built. I really wish they would have just molded the suspension links in one piece.
