Kinda sorta. The Orlandoo threads did, too and they are some cool micros.

I'm looking for shocks already for this one. I've got a few old sets of oil filled Losi Mini DT shocks I'm hoping may fit. Especially since I've got the pack of tuning springs. I'd love to see some axle, wheel, tire, motor, tranny, gearing specs. There's still some of the hand wound DDT Losi Micro crawler motors coming across fleaBay from time to time.

I hope it gets posted up when they're available. I've been checking every couple of days to see if they have but they haven't.

Looks like not proportional steering. Can you remove the body and take some good pictures of the servo mounting location? Good pics of the motor and tranny?

I took a few screenshots from that video. I think it is geared to tall as it is. It seems to lurch forward every time it encounters an obstacle.

Looks like a typical micro crawler servo.

Hard to tell if it's a geared motor. But there's plenty of tray for the servo and possibly a similar ESC if mounted well.

Just a u-joint cross pin, or? If it's just the cross pin, shove a paper clip through it. MIP hasn't got around to making shafts for this one yet

Attempting to order one from fasttech. who knows if it will actually ship or arrive! Hoping for the best however, as this looks like a great start to a project build!

Mine arrived today. The servo is a waste of installation at the factory. Looks like I'll be parts box diving in a few days. The tires are nearly rock hard, too.

It's all plastic and horrid angles. There is a lot of gear reduction at the tranny causing severe binding like a drag brake. So attempting to roll the axles at the wheels will feel like the axles are twisting off the leaves. But spin the driveshaft at the tranny and its smooth. It is not a geared motor. Looks to be a 130 size.

I've got 'too many irons in the fire' right now so I'll have to decide what comes first. Twin Hammers, leaf sprung D90, Wraith interior, scx10 resurrection, and a Tear Into. I guess it's a good problem to have since winter is coming.

I just received mine a couple hours ago. Box looked like it fell off the back of a truck, luckily only the front bumper was broken along with 2 tires popped off the wheels (they're not glued on anyway, so no big deal), and a bent leaf spring (2 extras were taped to the packaging.) I let the battery charge for 2 hours and took it for a test spin. The non-proportional steering took me back to my childhood toys in the late '80's, but at least the throttle is proportional. Ground speed is quicker than I expected, but it lacked the "oomph" to get itself over our mini-crawler course... I'll let the battery charge for the suggested 5 hours before jumping to conclusions there though. If it still lacks the power needed to get through our backyard course, I'll probably change battery connectors so it can share 2s's with my kids' Dromidas. I'll take full responsibility if the esc lights on fire!

Is making the steering proportional done with a tx/rx swap, or just the servo itself? I've got a Towerpro mg90s that certainly looks like it will drop right in.

Even though it's closer to disposable toy grade than it is to hobby grade, it's totally worth the $35 paid if only for the body. It might turn into a tinker time project for me, or end up as a loaner when my kids bring a friend over, we'll see. Either way, it looks cool sitting on the shelf!
