OK, thanks. Gamyrc said he heard that HBX Devistator metal gears might fit. He does have a YouTube video of how he has made a mix of available on the market metal gears work for the Sumo.

The basher is an motor on axle rig.own all three mentioned but nothing will cross over to the sumo

Articulation is actually increased with the Stingray design. The thing about it is you limit or extend this by lengthening or shortening the rear shock travel. With the increased ground clearance sometimes more articulation is not necessarily a good thing it all depends on what you are looking to crawl over. I will try to make time and put updated videos to show this, its just been hard to keep up with my micros with work and all :/.
