Default Back in it. Best micro crawler

Used to be in RCs back in the day had everything under the sun.
I've had such an itching to get back into it. What's the best micro crawler? I've read about the hobbyking bashta. I'm wanting 1/24 or bigger.

A guy near me is selling the hbx and the bashta both rtr for 80. Trying to decide if it's worth it. The bashta has upgraded gears.

If you want a little bigger, and plan to break it down and build it up. I suggest the RC4WD D90. it's not so great stock, but has metal axles, a real nice scale appearance, and with various upgrades I feel makes the easiest bullet-proof crawler. at the very least it's got more scale and metal involved in it! give it a servo motor upgrade and really wake it up!

Ended up picking up both a rtr basher and an hbx for 50 bucks!

I enjoy 1/24 scale too. I've got a modded Redcat crawler and a Carisma GT24 truggy. When you're ready for something bigger, I would think about getting a used Losi 1/18 mini crawler on ebay. I have one and it is just amazing!

Most capable out the box and even after mods will be the micro crawler and trail Trekker by Losi. After that probably the sump
