Default Crew cab leafed losi build

So it was time to retire my old micro setup and switch it up.

I knew we were going longer this time, so crew cab was in order.

Spent a bunch of time getting it right.

Next was to sort out the long bed. Go big or go home?

Next was to sort out the interior. We need 2 rows of seats right?

Marking for cutting for trans clearance.

Some paint, some covers for trans, and electronics in the back seat.

Next it’s time to make the frame work for the 7.25” wheelbase.

Then it’s back to body work , and getting ready for paint.

Checking battery fit

Then we get to primer time.

Then we start throwing paint

After that I start some detail work

Then I start adding some details working towards final assembly.

More to come. Waiting on a new sidewinder micro to put the cab together, then need to tidy up the rest and mount the bed.

I'm not into micro trucks per-se, but that looks awesome!

Nice micro crew square body. Hope my 1/10 version turns out looking half as good as yours.

Finally got my esc to get it buttoned up and running today.

It goes under its own power, can’t wait to put 3s to it and the trailer behind it.

Here are a few pics from the small shake down run

Was cleaning up and packing for the annual turkey day crawl so I snapped a couple of working pics.

Well the annual turkey day weekend crawling extravaganza was overall a success.

That last one totaled what was left of the drivers side mirror.

Then I loaded up to head crawling.

Swapped wheels and went to 3s power.

Ended up stopping this trucks fun early. Snapped a rear spring.

All in all it was pretty fun overall, and was a good time for sure.

I finally got the replacement springs and got this truck back in action.

It’s sporting a hobbyking brushless outrunner now, and the barrage wheels / tires look really good.

They are the wheels and tires off my 1/24 ecx barrage. They are perfect size, and for a rtr truck they hook as well as the aftermarket rubber. I added some bb’s for fun to keep it planted.

This was made from 2 revel 1/24 plow truck models. 2 cabs for the crew and 2 beds for the 8ft ish version.
