With a little trimming it could work. |

Since it looks like this is the thread collecting the most C14 knowledge, I found that the Losi Micro Crawler shock springs fit nicely inside the stock C14 shocks. Softer and with a very small amount of grease on the shock shafts to remove some of the stiction, I get enough better articulation to be pleased. I had experimented with VMG shocks since I was testing the potential fit of the VMG axles. Those were okay but not as good a the small Losi springs. I’m actually pretty pleased with this kit! Happy with the tires after making some dual density foams from left over old foams. |

Anybody have a source for a better motor that will fit in the stick trans, it actually works well on 2s lip with the esc I have on it, but the motor is getting super hot, I have the kit version btw with decent electronics you almost forget this is a toy, it works fairly well with stock everything else

-The stock kit servo works good, no need for an upgrade here. -I'm running on a 6V NIMH and top speed is a slow walk. -Crawling ability is good, mostly owing to the sticky tires. It has no problem climbing scale obstacles. -The biggest drawback is I'm basically just waiting for something in the drivetrain to break. So far so good, but it all seems very fragile. -The fun factor is pretty high. I'm a fan. Also YMMV, but my kit was missing some pieces.

Also the kit tires are a softer compound than the rtr tires for those that were wondering, and my first failure on this one was the same as my b1, the rear output started slipping inside the driveshaft yoke about 2 mins in to driving

I took a chance on one of these cheap brushed ESCs you see on ebay. They're listed anywhere from 10A to 30A, but I think they're probably all the same. I paid less than $5 for one, and I can report it works great for the C14. The on/off switch fits perfectly in the intended spot on the chassis. Its small enough to fit in the same cavity as the steering servo, with enough room left over to squeeze a Flysky receiver in there. Throttle control is smooth. |

Does anyone know what happened to the WPL C24, the one with the full pickup bed? I can't find it for sale anywhere. |

I wish I ordered the kit instead of the RTR. At the time I ordered, I didn't realize there was a difference. The tires in the RTR are ridiculously hard.
