Ecx barrage motor upgrade?
 

Does anybody still make higher turn motors for the micro size trucks? I've been out of it for a while but just got the barage and it's geared way wrong, I have a 90t predator in my old losi micro but the can is longer on this ecx so I can't swap them

Just because stock motor is longer doesn't mean you cant swap in the shorter predator motor. The pinions are the same, the ECX should have a 12t, I'd look for a 10t or even 9t losi micro pinion. Even if the holes in the motor plate don't line up to the predator you could file or drill what you needed into the motor plate, but I think someone has already said they bolt up.

I'm aware I can put the predator in the ecx but my hangup is not being able to fit the ecx motor in the losi, the losi still works don't wanna disable it

Oh I didn't know you were swapping both. Well I'm not sure how much longer the ECX motor is though I've seen them, but I'd assume it would fit.
if it's a losi micro crawler with mods to the motor plate you can fit a 130 big block motor.
If it's a stock trekker you can fit a 180 stroker motor with mods to the motor plate.
One of my predators on the left, Big block next, 180 stroker next to that.

Btw Danally still winds the motors if you have a stock losi motor, he's not able to wind the other brands like the ECX.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8a53768269.jpg

Yeah I'm gonna go look through my old stuff and see if I can find the stick losi one, i know I kept it

Lille others have said, Danally is ur guy. I have a 100t and 90t motors from him and they are great. Plus he changes the pinion to brass

Again yes. The barrage motor is just a longer can,same thickness. I bolted mine up just fine, but you'll need the losi motor screws. BTW don't forget Dan doesn't provide motors. You have to send him one

Yup I’m aware of that. I have 8-9 that he rebuilt for me that I’m saving for a rainy day haha
