I'm still open for trade! ;)

I was not comfortable with the original "Rhino"-type of grille of the Tonka and wanted something what is more familiar to me. As I live here where I do, Wagoneers are not very common tough many of them have been brought here afterwards but mostly late 80's and 90's versions.

I wanted to test if I can achieve a later 60's look..

First to make is the grille part of the grille.. printed it out negative to make it easier!

Oh noes I made a mistake. Where is the CRTL-Z here? I want to undo!

Supports for the grille with some shape on them. Forex that is! or Komacell!

..came out too steep, needed to fix the angle of the upper part. On the right side you can see the bent piece of styrene what will go between the grille piece and the supporting parts.

Headlight frames from PVC-panel. Drilled a 10mm hole and then carved it to shape with half-spherical file. Fun, actually! Thats why I did it few times to get it near.. ahem.. right?

Here is what I do with most of my parts what need to be duplicated. I glue them together and file them to approximately same size.

Far from perfect but perhaps close enough for this vintage body what is not perfect either! Let me know if you dislike it.

Best regards, Heikki.

That's a sweet truck, what are some of the future upgrades you have planned?

Did you ever end up modding any of the internals? What all did you do? Very nice build man. You make it hard to decide what to get for a Micro
