Micro Barrage Motor Upgrade

Hi Guys,

I will run 2s and I am looking for a motor that will do well with the 7.4v. I am planning to try an 8t pinion gear.

Can anyone tell me if any of these motors will fit and which would work well in terms of RPM? Torque?

If not, please recommend a motor that would work better.

There’s another thread for this where some options for motor upgrades are mentioned.

There’s the Predator motors from danally but he doesn’t wind non-losi motors. If you can somehow get a stock losi motor then send him a PM.

Or you can try a 130 70 turn motor from PN Racing. Buy the neodymium magnet ball bearing can for a huge boost in performance. If they don’t have them in stock just get the neodymium magnets and wheel bearings for the micro T which work. You’ll have to do some mods to get it to work. A new motor mount most likely. And a pinion because they don’t come with one.

You can get the motors from here. Go to the motors and esc section and then the 130 motors accessories.

I get my pinions for PN Racing motors from here

Mikroantriebe by KK Produkcja. Microgears, Wormgears, Micromotors and RC Equipment.

.3 pitch, 2mm bore, 3mm width. Tooth count you’ll have to experiment with depending on how the motor meshes with the new mount and the stock spur. The Losi required a 16t pinion and a 59t spur that had to be modded on from the rally.
